Emotional Trauma & Soul Ties

Recently, I was introduced to something called a “soul tie.” First of all let me explain how I got there. As we are approaching the end of the year I’ve been trying to reevaluate all of the life events that happened to me throughout the year. So I wrote everything down from January 1 up until now, this helped me look at everything the good and the bad, so that I could look at the good and figure out how to make it even better, and look at the bad and use it as a learning experience for the future. The last two years have been the most challenging years of my life. Transitioning into my 20’s while being in a serious relationship, while being in college, while trying to maintain a social life, while trying to find my career, while trying to be financially stable, while trying to find yourself…. I’m sure you got where I was going but I had to keep going. I guess what I’m trying to say is that things have been extremely tough for me. And I just did not think I was going to make it. I was too busy trying to make everyone around me happy I ended up losing myself.

This relationship lasted for 3/2 years, and after we broke up I became even more lost with myself. Then came post-break up which lasted for about 2 years where we just couldn’t stop seeing each other. Despite all of my attempts at googling why this was happening in hopes to find answers, it still did not help. It’s only recently that I’m finally starting to find myself again, and I’m starting to find happiness within myself again. So back to the soul tie thing, a soul tie is a linkage in soul between two people which can bring fourth both positive or negative outcomes. A soul tie formed from sex outside of marriage causes negative outcomes. I finally realized that I had formed a soul tie with this person,  which I had not yet broken, which is why it was so difficult to get over each other. To break this soul tie am I currently building a relationship with my spiritual self, making myself happy first, and becoming the best version of myself.
