Anxiety.
The constant thoughts that fog up our head. The constant thinking of having to make it in life, in order to make your parents proud. The constant thought of how important your future is and how things might not go as planned due to certain things that are happening in your life. The constant thoughts about the what if’s, that often play in the back of your mind like a broken record. The thoughts of rejection, stopping you from being your best. The millions of thoughts that are going around in your head and often having the feeling of being very overwhelmed. The constant thought of having to pretend to be okay, when you know your not, especially in front of your family because you don’t want to feel like a burden. Sometimes we don’t like to explain this to people because they might view you a certain way. Sometimes explaining anxiety to people can feel like having to explain how to solve world hunger. Sometimes trying to explain to people how your feeling, they will just tell you that “it’s just all in your head”. They are wrong it’s more than just that.
It’s hard to explain certain topics to people because sometimes they are going to try and find ways to help you but sometimes all you need from them, is for them to just listen.
The thought of not being good enough. The thought of not getting the grade you wanted in a class. The thought of not getting that job. The thought of losing a family member. The thought of losing a friend. The constant thought of always having to explain things to people, even though, we don’t even know what’s going on for ourself. The feeling of your heart beating heavily, making you feel like you are having a heart attack. The constant thoughts that make you feel like your stomach has fallen to the floor, making you sick to your stomach. Sometimes I get anxious out of nowhere and it’s hard to explain to people why.
Life happens, and sometimes we just have to sit back and look at how far we have come. Through all the downfalls that we have faced, we are still trying to overcome it and it’s okay. You will be okay.
The constant thought of having a go, go mentality and not being able to know how to give yourself a break because in your mind it’s just a waste of time.
Sometimes we don’t ask for help because we don’t want to feel like we are bothering them, so we just leave things alone and try to figure it out on our own. But doing that can often times build up can cause more harm in the future. Sometimes it feelings like you are alone, but you have friends and family you can contact but you choose not to because you don’t want to bother them.
You’re not going to feel okay all the time, so it’s okay to cry and be vulnerable. You’re going to feel dazed and confused at times and it’s okay. Sometimes it’s going to feel like a constant buildup of events that show you that you are not okay. It is okay. You will be okay.
Sometimes you just have to sit back and let yourself know that, yeah right now i’m not feeling my best, but I will eventually.
Just because you aren’t where you want to be doesn’t mean you’re not successful. Please Read that again!
Whatever it is that you are going through, you will get through it. This is a reminder, if nobody is rooting for you by your side, I will always be there rooting for you no matter what.
It is okay.
